3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are using our services on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. 5. Fees and Payment

First Year Free Offer

New clients are eligible for complimentary services in their first year, subject to our fair use policy. This includes standard tax return preparation and basic accounting services.

From year two onwards, fees are charged according to our published pricing. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST. • We accept payment by credit card, direct debit, or bank transfer

6. Client Obligations

• Respond promptly to our requests for information or clarification

7. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• We are not responsible for penalties or interest arising from information you provided that was incomplete or inaccurate
• Tax outcomes depend on individual circumstances and applicable laws which may change

8. Intellectual Property

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with our professional obligations and Privacy Policy. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law, with your consent, or as necessary to provide our services. Our confidentiality obligations survive termination of our engagement.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• At any time by providing written notice
• Immediately if the other party breaches these Terms
• If required by law or professional obligations

Upon termination, you remain liable for any outstanding fees. We will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning your records to another accountant upon request.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation before any legal proceedings.
